FAHEMS INTERNATIONAL LIMITED grew from an entrepreneurial vision of leveraging the training, experience and exposure of the founder to improve the quality of service in various areas, primarily maritime related, as well as taking advantage of existing opportunities in the Nigerian market.
Following a long career, we desired an entrepreneurial outlet to realize our vision of improved service delivery. We conceptualized many ideas, and chose to build from strength. The company was incorporated in 1984 as the first firm in the group, drawing on the experience, exposure and passion of the founder.
FAHEMS INTERNATIONAL LIMITED commenced as a freight handling company offering much more than clearing and forwarding. The firm soon expanded its scope into the management of bonded warehouses and running of off-dock terminals.
Success came from the enhanced professionalism it brought to bear in rendering service as well as a willingness to explore new areas and add value. Organic growth led to the establishment of our subsidiary Haulage and Equipment Company Limited to take advantage of extant opportunities in logistics handling and management unearthed by the operations of Sapid Agencies.
We now offer integrated logistics management services involving haulage of containerised cargo, leasing of logistics equipment, warehouse management as well as consulting on import and export operations. FAHEMS has leveraged on the experiences gathered in managing her off-dock facilities as well as the Customs Overtime Cargo terminal. It draws from and strengthens the credentials of our maritime-support operation.
